All orders are dispatched from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Each item is handmade or handpicked from local artisans and carefully packed before shipment.

We ship worldwide. Every country that accepts international post from Ethiopia is eligible for delivery.
Gift delivery in Addis Ababa
Items in our Send a Gift to Addis collection are delivered only within Addis Ababa, and are ordered separately from items that ship worldwide. Free delivery on the date you choose, at least 24 hours after you order.
How long delivery takes
By EMS (5–7 days) or Parcel post (10–15 days) after dispatch, depending on the country. Free shipping on orders over $1,000 up to 4 kg.
Customs checks in your country, public holidays and peak seasons can add a few days.
Once your order has been dispatched, we will send a confirmation with any available tracking information.
Shipping costs
Shipping is $50 for orders up to 1 kg; heavier orders are priced by weight and destination at checkout. Weight surcharges follow Ethiopian Post’s EMS and Parcel prices for your country, converted to US dollars. Sent by EMS express (5–7 days after dispatch), or by Parcel post (10–15 days) where EMS isn’t available. Free shipping on orders over $1,000 up to 4 kg. For orders over 30 kg, send us a custom order request and we will quote shipping.
Customs, duties and import taxes
Your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees when it arrives in your country. These charges are paid by the buyer and are not included in our prices or shipping costs. If you are unsure of the rates in your country, please check with your local customs authority before ordering.
Returns and refunds
Because each item is handmade, hand-selected, and shipped from Ethiopia, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. Read our full refund and returns policy.
Damaged or incorrect items
If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, email info@ethiosouvenir.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a clear photo. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.
We pack every order carefully to minimise the risk of damage in transit. In the rare event that something goes wrong, we will make it right.
Lost parcels
If your order has not arrived within 4 weeks of dispatch, please contact us. We will trace the parcel with Ethiopian Post and, if it is lost, send a replacement or refund you in full.
